# The Grid Platformer vs Mafia's Secret's

The clearest difference is ads: Mafia's Secret's at none against The Grid Platformer's shown. Mafia's Secret's also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 9 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). The Grid Platformer's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Grid Platformer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Mafia's Secret's sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mafia's Secret's holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Grid Platformer has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

The Grid Platformer ships an update every 9 months, Mafia's Secret's monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
