# Transpais vs Tornado Bus

The clearest difference is rating: Transpais at 4.9 against Tornado Bus's 3.0. Transpais also leads on ratings volume (163 vs 23). Tornado Bus's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 6%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Transpais holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Transpais has 163 ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 6% of Transpais's written reviews are positive against 33% of Tornado Bus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Transpais ships an update fortnightly, Tornado Bus every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
