# Commusoft vs Mr. Task

The clearest difference is rating: Mr. Task at 5.0 against Commusoft's 4.5. Mr. Task also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Commusoft's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs monthly). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Mr. Task holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of Commusoft's written reviews are positive against 88% of Mr. Task's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Commusoft ships an update every 9 days, Mr. Task monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
