# Simplilearn vs Emeritus

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Simplilearn at 1.1K against Emeritus's 96. On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Simplilearn sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Emeritus sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for Simplilearn against 4.4 for Emeritus. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Simplilearn has 1.1K ratings behind it against 96, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 42% of Simplilearn's written reviews are positive against 44% of Emeritus's.

Simplilearn ships an update monthly, Emeritus every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
