# Simplilearn vs eLearning Courses

The clearest difference is review sentiment: eLearning Courses at 100% against Simplilearn's 42%. eLearning Courses also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10). Simplilearn's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 7). On price, update cadence, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Simplilearn sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. eLearning Courses asks for nothing beyond the download.

Simplilearn holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Simplilearn has 1.1K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Simplilearn's written reviews are positive against 100% of eLearning Courses's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
