# Simplilearn vs SkillUp

The clearest difference is rating: SkillUp at 5.0 against Simplilearn's 4.4. Simplilearn's advantage is ratings volume (1K vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Simplilearn sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and SkillUp sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SkillUp holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Simplilearn has 1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Simplilearn ships an update monthly, SkillUp every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 15, 2026 respectively.
