# MOSAIK Magic vs SCP docs

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SCP docs at 100% against MOSAIK Magic's 30%. SCP docs also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). MOSAIK Magic's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SCP docs sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. MOSAIK Magic asks for nothing beyond the download.

MOSAIK Magic holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SCP docs has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of MOSAIK Magic's written reviews are positive against 100% of SCP docs's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MOSAIK Magic ships an update every 4 months, SCP docs weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
