# Wowed vs NYTIX

The clearest difference is review sentiment: NYTIX at 100% against Wowed's 54%. NYTIX also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.3) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Wowed's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (49 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wowed sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and NYTIX sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NYTIX holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wowed has 49 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 54% of Wowed's written reviews are positive against 100% of NYTIX's.

Wowed ships an update every 2 months, NYTIX every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
