# Membit vs ARUrban

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Membit at 100% against ARUrban's 0%. Membit also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (17 vs 2). ARUrban's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.3). On price, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ARUrban sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 3 months. Membit asks for nothing beyond the download.

ARUrban holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Membit has 17 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Membit's written reviews are positive against 0% of ARUrban's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
