# Membit vs Abound

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Membit at 100% against Abound's 52%. Membit also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). Abound's advantage is ratings volume (856 vs 17) and rating (4.5 vs 4.3). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Abound sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Membit asks for nothing beyond the download.

Abound holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Abound has 856 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Membit's written reviews are positive against 52% of Abound's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Membit ships an update every 5 weeks, Abound every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
