# Detective D Version 1.2 vs Dr. Virus

The clearest difference is rating: Detective D Version 1.2 at 3.0 against Dr. Virus's 2.5. Detective D Version 1.2 also leads on iOS requirement (6.0 vs 12.0). Dr. Virus's advantage is review sentiment (19% vs 0%) and ratings volume (24 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Detective D Version 1.2 holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dr. Virus has 24 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Detective D Version 1.2's written reviews are positive against 19% of Dr. Virus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
