# Orbits™ vs Blast Beats

The clearest difference is ads: Orbits™ at none against Blast Beats's shown. Orbits™ also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 27 months) and ratings volume (122 vs 5). Blast Beats's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Orbits™ sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Blast Beats sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Blast Beats holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Orbits™ has 122 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 91% of Orbits™'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Blast Beats's.

Orbits™ ships an update every 2 months, Blast Beats every 27 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
