# Beekeeper vs UKG Pro

Beekeeper and UKG Pro both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 55% of Beekeeper's written reviews are positive against 9% of UKG Pro's. UKG Pro's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and ratings volume (315K vs 18K). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Beekeeper against 4.7 for UKG Pro. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UKG Pro has 315K ratings behind it against 18K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 55% of Beekeeper's written reviews are positive against 9% of UKG Pro's.

Beekeeper ships an update fortnightly, UKG Pro every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
