# FLIO vs Aero

FLIO and Aero both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 83% of Aero's written reviews are positive against 44% of FLIO's. Aero also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). FLIO's advantage is ratings volume (602 vs 14) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for FLIO against 4.5 for Aero. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FLIO has 602 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 44% of FLIO's written reviews are positive against 83% of Aero's.

FLIO ships an update every 3 weeks, Aero every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 11, 2026 and August 16, 2026 respectively.
