# FLIO vs Window Seat Pro

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: FLIO at none against Window Seat Pro's 10. FLIO also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (604 vs 3). Window Seat Pro's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 15.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Window Seat Pro sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. FLIO asks for nothing beyond the download.

FLIO holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FLIO has 604 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of FLIO's written reviews are positive against 50% of Window Seat Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FLIO ships an update every 3 weeks, Window Seat Pro every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
