# CompuSport vs RankShot

The clearest difference is rating: RankShot at 5.0 against CompuSport's 2.4. RankShot also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 5) and ads (none vs shown). CompuSport's advantage is ratings volume (95 vs 2) and chart position (#162 vs unranked). On price, update cadence and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CompuSport sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. RankShot asks for nothing beyond the download.

RankShot holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CompuSport has 95 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

CompuSport ships an update every 6 weeks, RankShot every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
