# Notezilla vs Paper

The clearest difference is rating: Paper at 5.0 against Notezilla's 4.4. Paper also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 77%). Notezilla's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ratings volume (73 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Paper sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Notezilla asks for nothing beyond the download.

Paper holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notezilla has 73 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 77% of Notezilla's written reviews are positive against 100% of Paper's.

Notezilla ships an update monthly, Paper fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
