# Countdown vs Dayfall

Countdown and Dayfall both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 70% of Countdown's written reviews are positive against 0% of Dayfall's. Countdown also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (162 vs 15). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Dayfall sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Countdown against 4.7 for Dayfall. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Countdown has 162 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 70% of Countdown's written reviews are positive against 0% of Dayfall's.

Countdown ships an update fortnightly, Dayfall monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
