# Countdown vs Countdown

The clearest difference is update cadence: Countdown at fortnightly against Countdown's every 7 months. Countdown also leads on device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Countdown sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Countdown ships an update fortnightly, Countdown every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
