# Funnel vs Wilson FM

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Wilson FM at none against Funnel's 1. Wilson FM also leads on review sentiment (81% vs 52%) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 weeks). Funnel's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 108). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Funnel sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Wilson FM asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Funnel against 4.6 for Wilson FM. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Funnel has 1.3K ratings behind it against 108, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 52% of Funnel's written reviews are positive against 81% of Wilson FM's.

Funnel ships an update every 5 weeks, Wilson FM every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
