# Funnel vs Tech Forum

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Tech Forum at none against Funnel's 1. Tech Forum also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Funnel sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Tech Forum asks for nothing beyond the download.

Funnel ships an update every 5 weeks, Tech Forum fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
