# Funnel vs Ember Feed

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Ember Feed at 100% against Funnel's 52%. Ember Feed also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 5 weeks). Funnel's advantage is price (Free vs $5.99) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 1). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Funnel is free to download; Ember Feed costs $5.99 up front. Funnel sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Ember Feed sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ember Feed holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Funnel has 1.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 52% of Funnel's written reviews are positive against 100% of Ember Feed's.

Funnel ships an update every 5 weeks, Ember Feed every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
