# 1Control Solo (1ª Gen) vs CieID

1Control Solo (1ª Gen) and CieID both sit at 4.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 46% of 1Control Solo (1ª Gen)'s written reviews are positive against 9% of CieID's. 1Control Solo (1ª Gen) also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). CieID's advantage is ratings volume (254 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CieID holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CieID has 254 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of 1Control Solo (1ª Gen)'s written reviews are positive against 9% of CieID's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

1Control Solo (1ª Gen) ships an update every 5 weeks, CieID monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
