# Mindtickle vs S

The clearest difference is rating: S at 5.0 against Mindtickle's 3.9. S also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium). Mindtickle's advantage is ratings volume (233 vs 2) and update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

S holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mindtickle has 233 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mindtickle ships an update every 10 days, S monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
