# Mindtickle vs Safeguard Global

The clearest difference is rating: Safeguard Global at 5.0 against Mindtickle's 3.9. Safeguard Global also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). Mindtickle's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 0%) and ratings volume (233 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Safeguard Global holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mindtickle has 233 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Mindtickle's written reviews are positive against 0% of Safeguard Global's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mindtickle ships an update every 10 days, Safeguard Global fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
