# HourTracker vs Three Cells

The clearest difference is price: Three Cells at Free against HourTracker's $6.99. Three Cells also leads on ratings volume (13 vs 1) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). HourTracker's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.3) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On review sentiment, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Three Cells is free to download; HourTracker costs $6.99 up front. HourTracker sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $17.99 per month and Three Cells sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HourTracker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Three Cells has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 0% and 0% positive.

HourTracker ships an update every 5 days, Three Cells every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
