# KORG iM1 vs TM

The clearest difference is price: TM at Free against KORG iM1's $29.99. TM also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 7 months). KORG iM1's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (1K vs 4). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

TM is free to download; KORG iM1 costs $29.99 up front. KORG iM1 sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. TM asks for nothing beyond the download.

KORG iM1 holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KORG iM1 has 1K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of KORG iM1's written reviews are positive against 100% of TM's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

KORG iM1 ships an update every 7 months, TM fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
