# Focus To vs Pomodoro Timer

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pomodoro Timer at every 5 days against Focus To's every 5 weeks. Pomodoro Timer also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Focus To's advantage is ratings volume (15K vs 1) and device support (4 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus To sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Pomodoro Timer sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pomodoro Timer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focus To has 15K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Focus To ships an update every 5 weeks, Pomodoro Timer every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
