# Route Maker vs 足跡

The clearest difference is rating: 足跡 at 3.7 against Route Maker's 3.2. 足跡 also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). Route Maker's advantage is review sentiment (51% vs 35%) and ratings volume (14 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Route Maker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and 足跡 sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

足跡 holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 14 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of Route Maker's written reviews are positive against 35% of 足跡's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Route Maker ships an update every 2 months, 足跡 weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
