# Wayback vs Terry's Taste

Wayback and Terry's Taste both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Terry's Taste's written reviews are positive against 65% of Wayback's. Wayback's advantage is ratings volume (15K vs 4) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.6). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Terry's Taste holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wayback has 15K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 65% of Wayback's written reviews are positive against 100% of Terry's Taste's.

Wayback ships an update every 3 months, Terry's Taste every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
