# Wayback vs Long Garden

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Wayback at 15K against Long Garden's 9. Long Garden's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Long Garden holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wayback has 15K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Wayback ships an update every 3 months, Long Garden every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
