# Wayback vs Encash

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Wayback at 15K against Encash's 2. Encash's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Encash holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wayback has 15K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Wayback ships an update every 3 months, Encash every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
