# Wayback vs Halal Buns

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Wayback at 15K against Halal Buns's 12. Halal Buns's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Wayback against 4.8 for Halal Buns. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wayback has 15K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Wayback ships an update every 3 months, Halal Buns every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
