# Wayback vs Hot Dragon

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Wayback at 15K against Hot Dragon's 3. Wayback also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 7 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hot Dragon holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wayback has 15K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Wayback ships an update every 3 months, Hot Dragon every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
