# Wayback vs ACME Cafe

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Wayback at 15K against ACME Cafe's 2. Wayback also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.5). ACME Cafe's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Wayback holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wayback has 15K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Wayback ships an update every 3 months, ACME Cafe every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
