# FourWord Scuttle vs Smash Words

The clearest difference is ads: FourWord Scuttle at none against Smash Words's shown. FourWord Scuttle also leads on iOS requirement (6.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FourWord Scuttle sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Smash Words sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
