# Power Focus vs BreakTime

The clearest difference is ads: BreakTime at none against Power Focus's shown. Power Focus's advantage is ratings volume (457 vs 12) and review sentiment (66% vs 50%). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Power Focus sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and BreakTime sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Power Focus against 4.8 for BreakTime. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Power Focus has 457 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 66% of Power Focus's written reviews are positive against 50% of BreakTime's.

Power Focus ships an update every 4 months, BreakTime every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
