# Power Focus vs Timers

The clearest difference is update cadence: Timers at weekly against Power Focus's every 4 months. Power Focus's advantage is ratings volume (457 vs 49) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Power Focus sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Timers sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Power Focus against 4.7 for Timers. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Power Focus has 457 ratings behind it against 49, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 66% of Power Focus's written reviews are positive against 73% of Timers's.

Power Focus ships an update every 4 months, Timers weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
