# Power Focus vs Stella

The clearest difference is rating: Power Focus at 4.7 against Stella's 4.2. Power Focus also leads on ratings volume (457 vs 26). Stella's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and review sentiment (77% vs 66%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Power Focus sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Stella sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Power Focus holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Power Focus has 457 ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of Power Focus's written reviews are positive against 77% of Stella's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Power Focus ships an update every 4 months, Stella every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
