# Alfred Camera vs Zmodo

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Alfred Camera at 53% against Zmodo's 7%. Alfred Camera also leads on rating (4.8 vs 2.0) and ratings volume (112K vs 3.9K). Zmodo's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 8 days). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and chart position there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Alfred Camera sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Zmodo sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Alfred Camera holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Alfred Camera has 112K ratings behind it against 3.9K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 53% of Alfred Camera's written reviews are positive against 7% of Zmodo's.

Alfred Camera ships an update every 8 days, Zmodo every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
