# Mapa de Cidadão vs my NOS

The clearest difference is rating: my NOS at 4.2 against Mapa de Cidadão's 2.5. my NOS also leads on ratings volume (286 vs 2). Mapa de Cidadão's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

my NOS holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: my NOS has 286 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Mapa de Cidadão's written reviews are positive against 13% of my NOS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mapa de Cidadão ships an update every 5 weeks, my NOS every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
