# CityBee shared mobility vs Timey

The clearest difference is rating: CityBee shared mobility at 4.8 against Timey's 4.3. CityBee shared mobility also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 7). Timey's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks) and review sentiment (50% vs 41%). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timey sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. CityBee shared mobility asks for nothing beyond the download.

CityBee shared mobility holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CityBee shared mobility has 1.1K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of CityBee shared mobility's written reviews are positive against 50% of Timey's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CityBee shared mobility ships an update every 3 weeks, Timey every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
