# Fitivity Functional Training vs FitGenerator

The clearest difference is monetization model: Fitivity Functional Training at free with in-app purchases against FitGenerator's subscription. Fitivity Functional Training also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 71%). FitGenerator's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fitivity Functional Training sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and FitGenerator sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
