# Resistance Bands Training vs Be Back Smart

The clearest difference is monetization model: Resistance Bands Training at free with in-app purchases against Be Back Smart's subscription. Resistance Bands Training also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Be Back Smart's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Resistance Bands Training sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Be Back Smart sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $22.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Resistance Bands Training ships an update every 5 weeks, Be Back Smart every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
