# Ebroji vs Trend Micro ScamCheck

The clearest difference is rating: Trend Micro ScamCheck at 4.6 against Ebroji's 4.1. Trend Micro ScamCheck also leads on ratings volume (2.3K vs 88). Ebroji's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and review sentiment (60% vs 42%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Trend Micro ScamCheck holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trend Micro ScamCheck has 2.3K ratings behind it against 88, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Ebroji's written reviews are positive against 42% of Trend Micro ScamCheck's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
