# Newzik vs rythmic

Newzik and rythmic both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of rythmic's written reviews are positive against 66% of Newzik's. Newzik's advantage is ratings volume (1.6K vs 13) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Newzik sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and rythmic sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

rythmic holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Newzik has 1.6K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 66% of Newzik's written reviews are positive against 100% of rythmic's.

Newzik ships an update every 3 weeks, rythmic every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
