# Newzik vs IMSLP Practice

The clearest difference is rating: IMSLP Practice at 5.0 against Newzik's 4.6. IMSLP Practice also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Newzik's advantage is ratings volume (1.6K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Newzik sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and IMSLP Practice sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

IMSLP Practice holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Newzik has 1.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Newzik ships an update every 3 weeks, IMSLP Practice weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
