# Newzik vs MyTabla

The clearest difference is rating: MyTabla at 5.0 against Newzik's 4.6. Newzik's advantage is ratings volume (1.6K vs 1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Newzik sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and MyTabla sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MyTabla holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Newzik has 1.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of Newzik's written reviews are positive against 61% of MyTabla's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Newzik ships an update every 3 weeks, MyTabla fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
