# Eagle Eye App vs UniFi Verify

The clearest difference is ratings volume: UniFi Verify at 12K against Eagle Eye App's 2. Eagle Eye App's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Eagle Eye App against 4.9 for UniFi Verify. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UniFi Verify has 12K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Eagle Eye App ships an update every 3 weeks, UniFi Verify every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
