# Flapping Cage vs PewDiePie's Tuber Simulator

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Flapping Cage at none against PewDiePie's Tuber Simulator's 11. Flapping Cage also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (6 vs 15.0). PewDiePie's Tuber Simulator's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (225K vs 73). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PewDiePie's Tuber Simulator sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Flapping Cage asks for nothing beyond the download.

PewDiePie's Tuber Simulator holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PewDiePie's Tuber Simulator has 225K ratings behind it against 73, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of Flapping Cage's written reviews are positive against 85% of PewDiePie's Tuber Simulator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flapping Cage ships an update every 6 months, PewDiePie's Tuber Simulator fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
